About
This approach of Eddie Stern It combines classical Yoga practices such as Kriyas, Pranayamas, Sun Salutations of different types and Asanas (postures) from various lineages and schools, with a contemporary approach that takes as reference both the Indian tradition and modern science.
This is a dynamic class open to all levels of practitioners (including those with no experience). Regular practice aims to increase lung capacity, strengthen the cardiovascular system, balance the different branches of the nervous system, and improve back health.
The class structure has been designed by grouping and ordering the techniques and postures according to the patterns with which the Nervous System operates and the scientifically proven effects that these techniques and postures have on our physiology.
With just one Sangraha Yoga session, the practitioner will experience immediate calm, integration, balance, and energy.
This class format has been designed by the renowned international Yoga teacher, author and lecturer Eddie Stern.
"Sangraha" means "collection" or "compendium." The practices combined in this class come from the broader Hatha Yoga tradition, not from any particular lineage. Eddie Stern, widely recognized for his 30-year role as a leading Ashtanga Yoga teacher worldwide, has conceived this format based on his experimentation, study and exploration of classic Hatha Yoga practices and texts and what he has discovered and learned through recent serious medical research related to the effects of Yoga on health, having participated in several of them.
The teacher Iskra Bohórquez She is a direct student of Professor Eddie Stern and is the first Venezuelan certified to teach using this method. Iskra He continuously receives online instruction from Eddie Stern and other renowned instructors such as Robert Moses and Harshvardan Jhaveri, and travels regularly to India and New York for this purpose. He is also a member of the Directory of Certified Instructors by the Yoga Education College.
